CWLA is a federation of public and private non-profit agencies and organizations that serve vulnerable children and youths and their families. CWLA provides training, consultation, and technical assistance to child welfare professionals and agencies while also educating the public about emerging issues affecting abused, neglected, and at-risk children. Through its publications, conferences, and workshops, CWLA shares with its members information on emerging trends, specific topics in child welfare practice (e.g., child protection, adoption, adolescent pregnancy), and Federal and State policies.

Connect for Kids is a virtual encyclopedia of information for adults who want to make their communities better places for children. Through a Web site; e-mail newsletters; and radio, print, and television ads, Connect for Kids encourages and helps community members to participate more actively in issues that affect children and families. Visitors to the Web site can subscribe to a free newsletter, Connect for Kids Weekly and a free monthly bulletin, Connections.

NACA works for safety, security, health, and education for all America's children by supporting child advocacy organizations. NACC works to improve the legal protection and representation of children by training and educating child advocates and by effecting policy and legal systems change. The NACC sponsors conferences and seminars on important issues confronting child advocates and files amicus curiae briefs in selected court cases affecting children. The NACC also has a legislative agenda, a national child advocate awards program, and a speakers bureau.

The Center provides expertise to agencies and courts on legal and judicial aspects of child welfare, including court improvement, agency and court collaboration, timely decisions on termination of parental rights, non-adversarial case resolution, reasonable efforts requirements, legal representation of children, permanent guardianship, confidentiality, and emerging child welfare issues.
